Create and send a quotation
For bigger jobs — engine work, insurance claims, fleet servicing — customers want a price before they commit. A quotation gives them a professional, itemised offer with a link to approve it online.
Create the quotation
- Go to Quotations → New Quotation.
- Select the customer (and their vehicle).
- Give it a title describing the work (e.g. "Gearbox overhaul — Myvi WXY 1234").
- Set the valid until date — quotations expire automatically after this date.
- Add the line items: services (labour) and parts, each with quantity and price, exactly like a job card.
- Save. BengkelDay assigns the quotation number automatically.
Send it to the customer
Open the quotation and click Share via WhatsApp. BengkelDay opens WhatsApp to the customer's number with a ready-made message containing:
- The quotation number, title, and total amount
- The valid-until date
- A private link where the customer can view the full quotation and respond — no account or app needed on their side
You can also Print the quotation for walk-in customers who want something on paper — but the WhatsApp link is what gets you fast approvals, because the customer can accept with one tap. See Customer approval and converting to a job.
