Onboarding walkthrough
When you sign up, BengkelDay starts you on a 14-day PRO trial — every PRO feature is unlocked, no payment details needed. A short onboarding flow then gets your workshop ready. Here's what each step does.

Step 1: Business details (required)
Enter your workshop name, contact details, and address. These appear on every invoice, quotation, and job card you print or share, so make sure they're accurate — you can update them later in Settings → Organization.
Step 2: First customer (required)
Add one real customer — name and phone number are enough. Everything in BengkelDay (vehicles, job cards, invoices) hangs off a customer record, so this unlocks the rest of the app.
Use a real customer with a WhatsApp number. You'll be able to send them their invoice via WhatsApp at the end, which is the fastest way to see BengkelDay's value.
Steps 3–5: Vehicle, job card, invoice (optional)
These steps are skippable, but doing them takes about three minutes and walks you through the core loop of the app:
- Vehicle — register your customer's car (plate number, make, model).
- Job card — open a repair job for that vehicle with your first service items.
- Invoice — turn the job card into an invoice.
If you skip them, you can do the same things anytime from the dashboard — see Add your first customer and vehicle and Create a job card.
After onboarding
You'll land on your Dashboard. Good next steps:
- Set up your public booking page so customers can book you online
- Invite your team if you have staff
- Understand your trial and plans
When the 14-day trial ends, your account moves to the FREE plan automatically — your data is kept, and you can upgrade anytime. Details in Plans, trial, and upgrading.
