Add your first customer and vehicle
Every job card and invoice in BengkelDay belongs to a customer, and every vehicle belongs to a customer too. Set them up in that order.
Add a customer
- Go to Customers → New Customer.
- Fill in the customer's name and phone number — these are the essentials. Email and address are optional.
- Click Save.
BengkelDay assigns each customer a customer number automatically, so you don't need your own numbering system.
Enter the phone number the customer uses for WhatsApp. BengkelDay's share buttons open WhatsApp directly to that number when you send invoices or quotations.
Add their vehicle
- Go to Vehicles → New Vehicle.
- Select the customer you just created.
- Enter the plate number, make, and model. Year and other details are optional but useful for service history.
- Click Save.
One customer can have any number of vehicles — a Grab driver with two cars, or a company fleet, all sit under one customer record.
