Create an invoice from a job card
The fastest way to bill a customer is from the job card itself — every service item and part you added carries over, so there's no retyping.
From the job card
- Open the completed job card from Job Cards.
- Click Create Invoice. The invoice form opens with the job card already selected and its items filled in.
- Review the line items, adjust prices or add discounts if needed.
- Click Create Invoice to save. BengkelDay assigns the invoice number automatically.
From the invoices page
You can also start from Invoices → Create Invoice and pick the job card there. The form shows your job cards that don't have an invoice yet.
Only owners and managers can create invoices. Technicians and receptionists can view job cards but won't see the invoice option — see team roles.
After creating
- The invoice starts unpaid — record the payment when the customer pays.
- Print it or share it via WhatsApp straight from the invoice page.
Invoice totals, SST handling, and your workshop details on the printout all come from your business settings — check them once in Settings → Organization and every invoice after that is correct.
